This policy explains what the site collects, what it does not, and what you can ask us to do about it.

The site is a menu board and a set of directions. There are no accounts to create, no forms to fill in, no online ordering, and no card payments taken anywhere on it. If you order food, you do it in person at the counter or over the phone.

Because of that, we do not collect payment details, dates of birth, or any information about what you have ordered.

If you email support@deanosgrill.com or call the restaurant, we receive whatever you choose to tell us — usually a name, a phone number or email address, and the message itself. We use it only to answer you and to handle whatever you have asked about. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Like any website, the server that hosts this page keeps basic technical logs so the site stays up and is not abused. These typically include your IP address, the type of device and browser you used, the page you came from, the pages you viewed, and the time of the visit.

We use this to keep the site working, to spot attacks and broken pages, and to see which parts of the menu people actually look at. We do not use it to build a profile about you as a person.

This site does not set its own tracking cookies. Third-party tools we embed can set their own — the map on the home page is the main one. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time; the menu, prices and contact details keep working either way.

The “Find us” section shows a map supplied by Google. When that map loads on your screen, Google receives your IP address and may place its own cookies, and your visit is also covered by Google’s own privacy policy, not only ours. If you would rather not load it, the same location is a plain link: you can open it in the Google Maps app instead.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share the minimum needed with the small number of services that keep this site running: the company that hosts it, and Google for the embedded map.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, such as in response to a valid court order.

Emails and phone messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and to keep honest records of anything we agreed. Hosting and security logs are kept for a short period and then rolled off. Nothing on this site is stored about you in an account, because there are no accounts.

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@deanosgrill.com and we will handle it, usually within 30 days.

If you are a California resident, you have the additional rights given by the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

This site is written for people looking for a place to eat. It is not aimed at children, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if you tell us we have collected some by accident, we will delete it.

The site links out to Google Maps and to our own phone and email. Once you follow a link to somewhere else, that other site’s privacy rules apply and ours stop.

The site is served over HTTPS, access to the systems behind it is limited, and we keep things as simple as we can so there is less that can go wrong. No method of sending data over the internet is completely safe, so we cannot promise a perfect result — only a reasonable one.

When we change this page we update the “Last updated” date at the top. Keep using the site after a change and that is taken as you accepting the policy in force at the time you visited.
